American Water completes $315M acquisition of Nexus Water Group systems

American Water Works completed its purchase of water and wastewater systems across eight states for approximately $315 million, adding 47,000 customer connections and 70 employees. The acquisition expands the company's regulated utility footprint and represents execution of its core growth strategy.
