FDA Approves First Generic Single-Dose Influenza Treatment Baloxavir

The FDA approved the first generic version of Xofluza (baloxavir marboxil), a single-dose treatment for acute uncomplicated influenza. The approval applies to patients 5 years of age and older for both treatment and prophylaxis.
