Fund to invest up to 20% outside U.S., seeking Reg S securities

Effective October 19, 2026, Nuveen Variable Rate Preferred & Income Fund updated its investment policies to allow for qualified foreign investments up to 10% of managed assets and up to 20% in contingent capital securities, enabling exposure to Regulation S foreign securities.
