Gran Tierra Energy Agrees to Sell South American Assets to Maurel & Prom for $1.33B

Gran Tierra Energy Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Colombian and Ecuador oil business to Maurel & Prom for $1.33 billion, expected to result in net cash proceeds of approximately $315 million and repurpose the company for growth in Canada and Azerbaijan.
