Harmonic completes $145M sale of Video Business to MediaKind

Harmonic Inc. completed the divestiture of its Video Business to MediaKind for $145 million in cash, transforming itself into a pure-play broadband company. The transaction strengthens Harmonic's balance sheet and allows the company to concentrate resources on its virtualized broadband segment, the fastest-growing part of its portfolio.
