Highwater Ethanol sells 100% of Section 45Z tax credits to North Dakota bank

Highwater Ethanol LLC agreed to transfer all clean fuel production tax credits from its Minnesota ethanol facility to a North Dakota banking corporation under Section 45Z of the Internal Revenue Code. The transaction enables the ethanol producer to monetize federal tax incentives for clean fuel production.
