Incyte to acquire Vega Therapeutics for $1.25B upfront plus $750M in milestones

Incyte agreed to acquire Vega Therapeutics, a Star Therapeutics subsidiary, to add VGA039, a Phase 3 bleeding disorder treatment candidate to its hematology portfolio. The deal expands Incyte's offerings in a core therapeutic area with potential commercial upside from a first-in-class subcutaneous therapy for von Willebrand disease.
