MetaVia's DA-1726 achieves 9.1% weight loss in Phase 1 obesity trial

MetaVia presented Phase 1 results for DA-1726 showing up to 9.1% mean body weight reduction at 48 mg dose with favorable safety and early liver improvements at EASL 2026. The dual GLP-1/glucagon receptor agonist demonstrates potential for obesity and MASH treatment with ongoing Phase 1 titration studies underway.
