Redwood Trust authorizes waiver of REIT covenant terms

Redwood Trust Inc. and Hildene Capital Management signed a waiver and repurchase agreement to authorize the company's waiver of a compliance covenant for REIT qualification. The legal action was driven by the Minority Lien Senior Subordinated Noteholders who demanded the waiver and rebuying of their securities.
