Rigetti signs $100M letter of intent with U.S. Department of Commerce

Rigetti Computing announced a letter of intent with the U.S. Department of Commerce for up to $100 million in funding over three years to advance superconducting quantum computing R&D under the CHIPS Act. The government will receive an equity stake in the company as part of the agreement to accelerate quantum computing commercialization and scaling efforts.
